Hello, I am Kimberly Rendon.
I’m Kimberly– a Travel, wedding, elopement photographer based in Southern Oregon. I was born in Mexico, (Sinaloa if you are wondering) raised in LA and relocated to the beautiful PNW. I am Mexicana and I do speak Spanish, heck I speak Spanglish most of time hahaha. I am a shy extrovert and I love meeting new people. I just have such a love for this life we all get to live. I love the mountains + crazy views, slow mornings, coffee and tacos (but not together haha, well maybe), the sun on my skin, wildflowers, spending time with my people – and so so much more!
Traveling is also one of my favorite things to do when I’m not watching The Office on Netflix or reading a empowering book. Any Office fans out there where you at!? Some of my favorite places I’ve been to is China, Mexico, the Rocky Mountains, and Seattle. Traveling to new places and getting to experience different cultures is one of my absolute favorite things! Some of my bucket list locations include Machu Picchu in Peru, Switzerland, Greece, and taking a two week trip to explore Europe and maybe Egypt. I have always wanted to visit Iceland so we can’t wait to make this one happen hopefully soon!!! :)
Honestly, I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a camera in my hand! I was that kid on the playground in elementary school with a disposable camera, running around taking photos of my friends on the monkey bars. I went through school trying to figure out what my “adult job” would be and nothing ever felt right. Business is the one thing EVERYONE tells you to go after. In college I made the attempt at a Fashion Design and Business degree but it was not a good fit. I was unable to use any creativity the way I wanted. What I really, truly craved was the idea of bringing my creative visions to life that I had stuck in my head. Then my (Now) husband gifted me a camera for Christmas and I felt like that little kid with the disposable camera all over again. This is when I found my passion. I absolutely LOVE photography. My absolute favorite is working with couples — capturing their unique relationship and all the different emotions/moments that make up their story. I’ve met some of my best friends through photography, and have had the chance to travel to some of the most breath-taking areas of world! I’m so beyond thankful for my clients who trust me to be their wedding photographer, and freeze time for them on the happiest day of their lives. It’s the ultimate honor.
